We are seeking energetic and committed, experienced social workers to help young people with disabilities make the transition to greater independence and opportunities as they grow older.
If you hold a social work qualification with 3+ years experience, we’d like to hear from you. Please email your CV to recruitment@warwickshire.gov.uk
You’ll work closely with schools, communities and our education and health partners. We’ll attach you to one of our schools or colleges so you can get to know all the pupils, the local area, community resources and services, so you can develop friendship networks and use pooled resources to help young people achieve their full potential.
Key requirements
Social work candidates will have at least 3 years post-qualifying experience in working with people with learning and/or physical disabilities, alongside experience of managing safeguarding and undertaking multi-disciplinary team working, including assessment and review under the Care Act 2014.
If you do not meet these criteria but are an interested qualified social worker, please still contact us, as your other related experience may qualify.
You will be working with a variety of young people, including those with learning disabilities and autism, and/or physical disabilities, their carers and their families.
