Landscape Sensitivity Study for Rugby Borough Council

Landscape Sensitivity Study for Rugby Borough Council

We were appointed by Rugby Borough Council in February 2016 to undertake a landscape character analysis around seven of the larger settlements within the Borough. The aim of the study was to provide an analysis of landscape sensitivity around each settlement, identifying areas of low, moderate and high sensitivity for potential housing development. The sensitivity report was used as part of the evidence base to inform Rugby Borough Council’s Draft Local Plan, and to provide a tool for planners to use when assessing the suitability of planning applications for development sites.
