Welcome
On-call fire fighters are integral part of our Fire and Rescue Service and give emergency cover to the rural communities of Warwickshire. Although not based on fire stations, they usually live or work in their local community and carry a pager, so when they get the call, they are ready to respond to any emergency.
On-call firefighters must live or work within five minutes of one of our on-call fire stations, or do their main job remotely and be able to use one of our on-call stations as a based. Our fire stations with an on-call section are located in Atherstone, Bedworth, Bidford-on-Avon, Coleshill, Fenny Compton, Henley-in-Arden, Kenilworth, Polesworth, Shipston-on-Stour, Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon and Wellesbourne.
We are not currently recruiting on-call firefighters. If this changes, we’ll post further updates here and on our social media channels.
