Members allowances 2018 to 2019 - Warwickshire Open Data

The table below shows the allowances paid to elected members of the County Council in the year 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2019. The table shows basic allowances, which all elected members receive, special responsibility allowance (e.g. for chairing Committee), carers allowance and travel and subsistence for elected members in accordance with section 51 of the Local Authorities (Member’s Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 (Statutory Instruments 1021).

The figures include expenses for Members of the Police and Crime Panel which are paid by Warwickshire County Council and reimbursed as a grant from the Home Office. Details of these payments are included in the Warwickshire Police and Crime panel data. The amounts paid to members vary between members according to their particular responsibilities and also the number of meetings and distance they may need to travel from their homes to these meetings.
