Big Art holiday club - Join us this summer for an unforgettable holiday club at Compton Verney. Perfect for young artists and adventurers alike, this is the ultimate summer escape to create, play and explore!

Week 4: Children will dive into our inspiring exhibitions, explore the stunning grounds, and unleash their creativity. From building imaginative architectural creations, crafting unique textile art and using nature as a canvas for their own masterpieces, every day promises excitement and discovery.

Meet the artist: Olivia Wilson is a passionate art and design teacher with over 15 years of experience inspiring creativity in schools, galleries, and holiday workshops. Olivia’s love for teaching art shines through her fun and engaging approach, making her classes a favourite for children of all ages. Having dedicated her career to nurturing young artists, Olivia believes that everyone has the potential to be creative. Her workshops are designed to bring out the best in her students, building confidence and encouraging self-expression in a supportive and joyful environment.

Week 5: Inspired by our outdoor artworks, exhibitions and collections, children will be encouraged to try lots of creative activities and flex their imagination. They will take part in drawing and creative games, sculpture challenges, experiment with printing as well as designing collaborative murals. They will spend some time outdoors as well as in the art studio for this week.

Meet the artist: Molly Cleaver is an artist based in the Black Country, West Midlands, whose practice revolves around playful approaches to expanded painting. Her work blends reworked materials, domestic objects, and staged compositions to produce sculptural pieces that push the boundaries of traditional painting. Collaboration plays a central role in her practice, demonstrated through her involvement in creative projects and artist residencies at organisations in the region.

Please let us know if you need to drop your children off a little earlier to help with other commitments. We can keep them busy from 9am, until the workshop begins

Once you’ve booked on, parents/carers will be sent additional information about the day and permission forms. These will need to be competed in advance of the day.

We aim to be fully inclusive so if your child requires any additional support please get in touch with our Learning Team. This helps us to plan the day in advance and ensure each child gets the most out of their visit. Please contact info@comptonverney.org.uk or 01926 645552 or 01926 645563.
