NHS health visitors work with families to support the health and wellbeing of their children in the early years of life. The service is available to all children and families in Warwickshire, with a wider service available within a graduated approach.
You will have been supported through a universal service which is available to all. This is known as the Healthy Child Programme in Warwickshire.
Universal Plus
Universal Plus provides more targeted support from health visitors when specific help is needed. This may be for the following reasons:
- Post-natal depression
- Sleep problems
- Breastfeeding
- Other feeding issues
- Speech development
- Concerns regarding your child’s behaviour and/or development
Universal Partnership Plus
Universal Partnership Plus provides ongoing support from health visiting teams plus a range of local services that help with more complex issues. These will include children’s centre services, other community services and the Family Nurse Partnership.
