Support from Citizens Advice through the Cadent Energy Project

This project provides one to one energy advice and support to families who are struggling to pay their bills. Contact your local Citizens Advice or the Family Information Service who can make a referral for you:

Act on Energy

Act on Energy encourage energy conservation by providing free and impartial energy advice to households and small businesses in Warwickshire. Act on Energy can help with energy bills and government funded grants for heating systems and insulation.

Better Housing Better Health

Better Housing Better Health (BHBH) is a service working to reduce the number of people in fuel poverty and improve domestic warmth and wellbeing.

The BHBH team provides free, confidential, and tailored impartial advice on energy bill discounts, grants and funding for energy efficiency measures, measures such as insulation and new heating systems and access to other support services.

National Energy Action

National Energy Action work to overcome the effects and causes of fuel poverty in four ways. They provide advice and support, campaign and advocate for the needs of fuel-poor households, carry out research to raise awareness and find solutions, and we provide accredited training.

National Energy Action provide advice and support on a range of matters including cost of living support, warm and safe homes advice, what to do if you are struggling with energy bills and frequently asked questions about smart meters.

Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP)

LEAP helps to support as many people as possible who are at risk of going into fuel poverty. They provide an energy advice service, subject to eligibility criteria. LEAP also provide a replacement appliance scheme and a boiler repair and replacement scheme. Access to the appliance and boiler schemes is only available after the energy advice service appointment, during which eligibility and suitability for those parts of the programme will be established.

The service is open to all types of householders – homeowners, private renters, and social housing tenants.
