Surface Water Management Plan (SWMP)
A Surface Water Management Plan (SWMP) has been created to outline the methodology for prioritising flooding locations across Warwickshire. It includes a prioritised list of flooding locations. The list will be used to prioritise:
- applications for external funding for investment
- additional flood spend approved by ourselves in February 2014
- investigation of flooding incidents
The additional approved flood spend is mainly concerned with:
- the monies being used for match-funding for flood alleviation schemes
- specialist CCTV and jetting of culverts
- applications from parish and town councils and community groups for flood grants.
