About the programme

The Food and Drink sector in Warwickshire generates over £300m for the local visitor economy and is the County has a wide range of quality produce, artisan makers and themed experiences which cater for both local communities and visitors.

The Warwickshire Food and Drink Programme aims to support and enable the development of this important sector, through a range of including:

  • Regular meetings of local food and drink producers via the Warwickshire Producers' Network encouraging peer to peer collaboration and facilitation of local sourcing.
  • Signposting to partners who can provide access to business support and any finance available.
  • Opportunities to showcase Warwickshire Food and Drink to new markets through events, promotional activity and attendance at sector specific national shows.
  • Provision of a platform for Warwickshire’s emerging Food and Drink brands.
  • Promotion of the sector to both residents and consumers as well as messages around food provenance, reduction of food miles and the importance of buying locally.
