What we offer

Apprenticeship opportunities are available across many of the Council’s service areas, and therefore we offer a larger variety of apprenticeship programmes than most other employers can match.

We can provide careers pathways via apprenticeships in areas including social care, civil engineering, accounting, ICT, data analysis, customer service, classroom assistance, vehicle maintenance, project management and many more. We offer apprenticeships at all levels, including higher and degree, and we work with excellent apprenticeship training providers to support your learning.

Every apprenticeship role we offer is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to progress your career within Warwickshire County Council. From day one, we will invest in your development to ensure you are ready to move into your next role by the time you complete your apprenticeship.

More than 130 apprentices have been retained in further employment within the Council since the apprenticeship scheme began in 2012, and many of them have continued to develop their professional skills and capabilities through further apprenticeships at a higher level.

We also offer apprenticeships for our existing employees as part of our employee learning and development offer.
