Community cohesion and safety
If you have experienced discrimination of any kind, do not hesitate to get in touch with Warwickshire's Equality and Inclusion Partnership (EQuIP)
EQuIP is a charity that aims to protect the residents of Warwickshire from any forms of discrimination or hate, working with partners to help make Warwickshire a welcoming, diverse, inclusive and safe place for all. They offer a free and impartial casework service for anyone who feels that have been discriminated against. If you feel you have been discriminated against, please get in touch with the EQuIP team.
Alternatively, the Report Hate now website allows you to report a hate crime you may have experienced or witnessed both anonymously and easily. It provides information on what hate crimes involve, why it is important to report it and who to report it to.
There is also a nationwide organisation called On Your Side, which is a new service that was launched on the 9 August 2022, offering dedicated support for East and Southeast Asian victims of racism and/or other forms of hate. The service includes a 24/7 freephone helpline available in East and Southeast Asian languages; a website with reporting forms and resources; and ongoing community-based support delivered by trained casework advocates.
