Extending existing 30 mph speed limit on a stretch of Spernal Lane near Great Alne, Alcester.
Scheme overview
Under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, we propose to extend the existing 30mph speed limit on the length of road mentioned in the schedule below.
Schedule
- Existing 30mph Speed Limit to be extended by 115 metres - Spernal Lane, Great Alne, from its junction with B4089 Alcester to Wootton Wawen Road, in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 365 metres (being an extension of 115 metres from the end of the current 30 mph speed limit).

A copy of the proposed order, together with a plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the order, may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick; at the Stratford on Avon District Council, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford on Avon; and at Alcester Library and One Stop Shop, Globe House, Priory Road, Alcester B49 5DZ, during usual opening hours.
