It is proposed to revoke the current 30mph speed limit order along Coventry Road, Southam and introduce an order to classify it as a 30mph restricted road, by virtue of a system of streetlighting.

Scheme Overview

It is proposed to revoke The Trunk Road (A423) (Coventry Road, Southam) (Restricted Roads) Order 1986 which made the length of road referred to in the public notice a restricted road, with a 30mph speed limit, by Order. There is no amendment to the 30mph speed limit but is an administrative change to revoke the existing Order and classify the said length of road as a 30mph restricted road, by virtue of a system of streetlighting.
