A request has been received by Warwickshire County Council from one of its elected representatives proposing to make improvements to an existing Zebra Crossing.
Scheme Overview
Road Humps are proposed to be added to the existing Zebra Crossing on Willes Road at its junction with Leam Terrace. Its intention is to slow down the through traffic along Willes Road. An identical proposal was advertised on 20 October 2020 however the Road Humps have not been installed due to the proximity of other roadworks carried out by Statutory Undertakers and also the Commonwealth Games. Due to the length of time that has elapsed since the advert, Warwickshire County Council is undertaking a new consultation in relation to the proposals.
