As part of Councillor Jenn’s delegated budget scheme, it is proposed to introduce a 40mph speed limit on that part of Tamworth Road, Wood End/Hurley Common.
Scheme Overview
It is proposed to introduce a 40mph speed limit to reduce vehicle speeds through this section of Tamworth Road as this is currently a national speed limit (60mph). A reduced speed limit would improve road safety and improve the environment for all road users. Additional information is given in the public notice and legal documents below.
