Warwick-based wine merchants Wine Poole will be hosting a Christmas Wine Tasting event in the magnificent surroundings of The Old Shire Hall on the town’s Northgate Street on Friday 23rd November, followed by the opportunity to dine in style!
The event will have a fabulous selection of sixty wines from all over the world for you to taste, with expert advice on hand to make sure you choose the best selection to accompany your festive food this Christmas.
They’ll include wines from Argentina, South Africa, Spain, Italy, Chile, France, Australia and New Zealand to suit all tastes and pockets, whether you’re hosting a family Christmas lunch or New Year’s party for friends.
Christmas is the perfect opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and discover something new, with the reassurance of trying before you buy!
Of course, Christmas is also the time of year for fizz, dessert wines and port, and Wine Poole with have a super selection to tempt you too, including a new Champagne from a Grand Cru village, Reserva Cava, Franciacorta, plus a few old favourites.

With menu choices including smoked mackerel pate, slow cooked venison, beetroot falafel, spiced apple and blackberry crumble and, of course, the traditional roast turkey wrapped in bacon, you will be spoilt for choice at £24.95 per person for two courses or £29.95 per person for three courses.
