Race-goers are being invited to enjoy the flavour of Warwickshire’s finest small and emerging food and drink producers at the Warwickshire Food and Drink Showcase taking place at Warwick racecourse on Tuesday 24th September.

Visitors will be able to watch the races, enjoy cooking demonstrations from leading local chefs and sample the mouthwatering products created by some of the region’s best food and drink producers, at what is set to be a fun and interactive event.

This is the third time the County Council has hosted a supplier and buyer exhibition, but the first time the event has also been open to the public.

Leader of Warwickshire County Council, Cllr Izzi Seccombe says:

"Warwickshire has a huge range of quality suppliers of food and drink, yet our reputation for our excellent produce is not widely known. We aim to support the sector by encouraging more local outlets to source and buy their food and drink locally, in order to foster a more sustainable, successful and authentic taste of Warwickshire. We are enabling networking within the industry to strengthen collaboration and peer to peer support. This event is the perfect opportunity for racegoers to enjoy quality food and drink, while supporting local producers and suppliers."

The event is free to attend for buyers and the race-going public.
