Parking, train station and facilities

The Park and Ride car park is open every day and has more than 700 parking spaces available, including several EV charging points. It also has a passenger terminal with seating, toilets available Monday to Saturday from 7.30am to 12.30pm, and generous roof cover to protect visitors from the elements. 

Stratford Park and Ride has a Pay and Display car park. You can buy your ticket from one of the ticket machines using cash, card, or the RingGo app

Car park tickets cover use of the Park and Ride car park only and do not cover use of the Park and Ride bus service or nearby rail services.

Electrical car charging points

There are four electric car charging points available to use at the Stratford Park and Ride site. Vehicles can park for free when plugged in. 

Toilets

There is a fully accessible toilet in the passenger terminal building, which is open Monday to Saturday 7.30am to 12.30pm. The toilets are not available outside of these hours or on Sundays. 

Disabled badge holders

Drivers displaying a valid disabled badge can park for free, but bus or rail fares still apply. 

Restrictions

There is a height restriction at the car park of 2.1m / 6ft 10ins, and no motorhomes, caravans or camper vans are permitted at Stratford Park and Ride at any time. 

Penalty charges

Vehicles parked in contravention of the parking restrictions will be issued a Penalty Charge Notice, either a £50 (lower) or £70 (higher) penalty charge dependant on the contravention.

Stratford Parkway Station

Regular trains run between Stratford-upon-Avon Parkway station, situated at the far end of the Park and Ride car park, and Stratford-upon-Avon station which is a 10-minute walk from the town centre. Return trains from Stratford-upon-Avon station run into the evening, with last trains leaving at 23:17 Monday - Friday, 23:16 on Saturday, and 20:06 on Sunday. 

For further information about train times and fares, or to purchase rail tickets, visit the National Rail website. Off-peak fares are £2.20 for an adult return. Groups of 3 to 9 adults travelling together can get a 1/3 discount on off-peak tickets.
