Support for Post 25 Care Experienced Young People
Always Here Offer
Warwickshire are introducing a provision for care experienced people aged 25+ to be able to talk to the team, share news and ask for guidance, advice or signposting.
As corporate parents for young people who have previously been in care we take our responsibility seriously. We recognise that care experienced young people need ongoing support to close the gaps between them and their peers.
We know that for most adults, they regularly turn to family for advice and guidance and we know for some of our care experienced adults there are real worries about turning 25 and "losing" the support of the Leaving Care Team.
Therefore Warwickshire have introduced a new offer to provide support for our post 25-year-old care experienced adults. Any adult who has been accommodated by Warwickshire previously and qualified for a leaving care service can now access a single point of contact along with online or telephone support.
