What is supported living?
When we carry out an assessment of your needs we will try to enable you to live at home as independently and safely as possible. If this isn’t possible we will advise you on the type of home that’s best for you.
Supported living is designed to help disabled people live independently in their local community and is an alternative to residential care for people who are eligible
In supported living accommodation, the housing provider and support provider are separate, and the customer has a licence or tenancy.
Support can be commissioned from a few hours a week, up to 24-hours a day, depending on your assessed needs.
