Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be visiting Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group next week (Monday 12 July) to carry out their SEND Local Area Inspection.
The inspection of the local area will cover and report on the following key aspects in arriving at a judgement about the effectiveness of the local area:
- The effectiveness of the local area in identifying children and young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities
- The effectiveness of the local area in assessing and meeting the needs of children and young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities
- The effectiveness of the local area in improving outcomes for children and young people who have special educational needs and/or disabilities
As part of the inspection all Warwickshire parents and carers of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are being invited to fill in a survey.
The survey opened at 12 noon on Monday 5 July and closes at 11:59pm on the Tuesday 13 July 2021.
