Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
We will request an enhanced DBS check (or status check if you are registered with the service) to confirm the eligibility to register for the scheme and to ensure the safety of those coming to live in the UK.
Welfare checks
Welfare checks are arranged via the Homes for Ukraine support team. Once guests have arrived at the accommodation, they will be contacted to arrange a suitable time for a member of the support team to come and visit them at the accommodation. Where possible all guests and hosts should be present for the visit. The visit will last for around one hour and it is an opportunity for guests to find out more about the support that is available, and how they can access it. If you have any queries regarding these visits please contact the support team on 0800 408 1447 or ukraine@warwickshire.gov.uk
If your circumstances as a sponsor have changed (for example, you are no longer able to host, your guest is no longer arriving, there is a change to the number of guests arriving) please either update or withdraw your application online or call the visa Home Office helpdesk for support:
