Pro bono solicitors
A group of volunteer legal professionals with immigration/asylum expertise was set up on 28 February 2022 to provide free UK immigration and asylum advice to Ukrainian citizens affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Legal aid solicitors
If you are on a low income and need help from an immigration solicitor, you can search the list of legal aid providers.
Legal aid is not "public funds" for the purpose of immigration rules, so you can apply even if you are on a visa that doesn't normally give you access to public funds (such as benefits).

- The Home Office also has several other safe and legal routes under the points-based immigration system which could be used by Ukrainian nationals to reach the UK.
- Ukrainian nationals can get visas to work and study in the UK through the points-based immigration system, such as via the Skilled Worker, Student or Graduate routes or the Health and Care Worker visa.

Hackney migrant centre - is a charity providing advice and assistance to migrants on immigration, welfare and health issues.
They hold a free weekly drop-in advice surgery every Wednesday where people can access advice on their immigration status, as well as issues relating to homelessness and destitution.

Coventry refugee and migrant centre - Provide holistic legal and practical support to assist and empower refugees and migrants and assist them to rebuild their lives.
They offer a free one-off advice on immigration and asylum law matters at a weekly drop-in, held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 9:00am and 3:30pm and Friday between 9:00am and 2:30pm.

Rights of women - Is a legal charity assisting vulnerable women establish and access their legal rights.
They run a free advice line for women seeking advice on immigration and asylum law. The line is open between 10.00am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
