Fees and concessions
Where fees apply, you will see these listed for each course as follows:
A: This is the full fee. You will pay this if you do not qualify for a discount.
B: This is the fee for learners aged 66 or over. Please bring evidence.
C: This rate applies for learners, or their unwaged dependants, in receipt of one of the following benefits:
- Employment and Support Allowance,
- Housing/Council Tax Benefit (not single persons discount)
- Incapacity Benefit
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Pension Credit
- Universal Credit
- Income Support
- Working Tax Credit (annual income below £16,385)
If you are claiming fee remission (B or C), some form of proof of eligibility will be required. For example, a bus pass or passport for an age-related concession or a letter from a relevant benefit agency that includes your name (please contact us if you have any queries).
For ESOL courses, please bring this evidence in order to gain remission from examination fees.
