Nuneaton town centre public realm schemes
These projects involved both hard and soft landscape design to regenerate and enhance the attractiveness of the town for residents, visitors and investors. The schemes were designed to create vibrant, lively pedestrianized streets with seating areas. The paving design is inspired by the ribbon and rope making heritage of the town, with sinuous ‘ribbons’ and a spiral ‘coil of rope’ forming focal points. The scheme won a Brick Development Association Award for ‘Best outdoor space’.
