I want to appeal
If you are not eligible for a badge, we will write to you explaining this. If you wish to appeal, please write to us via email or post clearly stating why you think that the decision is wrong. You have the right to appeal up to 28 days after decision date, inclosing any additional evidence and information regarding your mobility to support this
Unless you can provide additional medical evidence in relation to your conditions and how they impact you (information that you have not previously provided), or your condition has significantly deteriorated since you applied for the Blue Badge, then your request to change the decision is unlikely to be successful.
If you decide to appeal, your application will be reviewed by an expert assessor. We may ask you to attend an appointment (if we have not done so already). Our expert assessor may request any relevant further information they feel necessary in order to arrive at a decision.
